"Perfect" is a bad word.

per·fect (adjective) - having all the required or desirable qualities, elements, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be
We need to understand that this word does not define how we run our lives. Not as a society, not as a community, and not as individuals. All of us as all of these things are flawed, and in most cases, beautifully so. Rather than embrace and pride the things about ourselves that bring us closer to this definition of perfection, we should be embracing and priding the things that we are flawed in. Our differences. These defects are what makes us as a society, community and individuals, unique. Our distinct qualities that flaw us from reaching this never attainable "perfection" that we run our lives with are what makes us so exceptional. The simple fact that we are all unusual from the other is what makes us noteworthy. I'm ever so sorry to break your heart but no matter how many times your loved one, mom, sister, brother, dad, friend, or anyone may tell you you are perfect; you're not. They aren't necessarily lying to you either, we just don't quite understand the correct terms to emphasize the brilliance we see within each other that makes us so remarkable to others. No one is perfect, not even Disney princesses. They all struggles with their flaws to get to their happy endings in all of their stories. Never let anyone tell you you're perfect, it's a bad word, not what you want to be. Embrace the qualities and elements about us as a society, community, and individuals that flaw us from the dangers of being "perfect". Because those characteristics are what truly make us stunning in the eyes of others.
